Arriving from the south:
Take Highway #1 north from San Luis Obispo  (65 miles to Treebones) We are 25 miles north of San Simeon & Hearst Castle. North of San Simeon, & past Ragged Point take the first right after the little town of Gorda onto Willow Creek Road. Watch for our 'solar' Treebones sign on  right side of Hwy # 1. Take an immediate right through our gate and follow the half mile road to the Resort.

Arriving from the north:
Take Highway #1 south, driving 65 miles south of Monterey. Turn left on Willow Creek Road and take an immediate right through our gate & drive up the half mile road to the Resort.

Helpful hint: when coming from Monterey...once you see Lucia Lodge you have another 20 minutes to drive.... watch carefully after dark for our "solar" Treebones sign on left side of Hwy #1.    If you arrive at Gorda and the Whale Watcher cafe you have missed us by 1 mile! Turn around and come back!

Alternate Travel Routes Due to Hwy 1 Fire Closure   As of July 5, 2008:  Hwy 1 is closed at Lucia Lodge approximately 15 miles north of Treebones. Guests arriving from the north should travel south on Hwy 101, then west on Hwy 46  then north on Hwy 1 back up to Treebones. Hwy 46 is a beautiful drive through wineries with a panoramic view of the coast as you descend onto Hwy 1.
